The time signature editor did not support keyboard shortcuts for copy/paste.While recording, moving the playhead before the beginning of the red block would graphically start a new block instead of extending the existing one. While recording, notes did not graphically appear on the red block. The setting “Keep Output Routing on Preset Change” was never saved in preferences.Quitting certain hosts when the VST 3 plug-in had been used could cause a crash. Some (few) library presets would for some instruments cause a high-pitched noise at low buffer sizes. The current library preset was not marked with an asterisk if a macro control knob was turned.Changing libraries or loading a preset did not make the host get properly notified that parameter values (macro control values) had changed.

Now, setting a parameter to the same value that it already has does nothing (for example if the host tries to reapply parameter values some time). When a project was loaded, parameters (macro controls) would get reapplied, potentially changing properties bound to the macros. On Windows, there is now a setting to invert the horizontal scroll direction when shift+wheel is used.In MIDI In/E-Drums settings, it now says “-” instead of “No” in the “Edited” column. In MIDI In/E-Drums settings, there is now an option to show “All Notes in Preset” to only show the notes relevant to the selected e-drum preset/kit.The hi-hat now has a time window, within which the pedal needs to have been raised after a “Pedal Closed” hit in order to generate a splash. The hi-hat splash feature has been improved in order to remove unwanted hi-hat splashes. The maximum number of mixer buses has been increased from 16 to 32.Moving the playhead in the song track now scrolls the Grid Editor to show the playhead, unless the Auto-Scroll option is off.The poly-aftertouch editors have been removed. A new articulation row called “Choke (Stop Playing)” has been added for each instrument that responds to aftertouch.(Library versions are listed in the About dialog, up-to-date library descriptions are on the Toontrack website and the MIDI layout can be seen in the new MIDI Mapping Layout window.) “About Sound Libraries” has been removed from the Help menu.It can be opened from the Help menu as well as from the More menu for each instrument. A MIDI Mapping Layout window has been added. Please note that version 3.3.4 is required for the support of Superior Drummer 3 products released from this point forward (Q4 2022).

Alesis Surge and Nitro preset fixes (affecting note numbers for hats, ride and crash). The description for “Dim Extra Notes” would say it was unavailable when it was available and vice versa. On Mac, ctrl-click on an empty effect slot could cause a crash.Fixed an issue with the EQ effect – the curve was not correct for nodes in Peak mode with slopes 12 dB/oct or 24 dB/oct, particularly with low Q values. In the Channel Aftertouch editor, when a new block was inserted, the other blocks got smaller.Removing an added instrument which is not the most recently added one, saving the project and loading it will no longer cause a crash.Loading a SD2 user preset with X-drums did not work well in some cases – the X-drums did not always become “added instruments” in SD3 but would sometimes use empty “standard” positions, which could lead to MIDI mapping issues.Positional sensing has been added to the snare in the DTX-PROX preset. The numerator in the time signature editor is now limited to 127 instead of 32.In the time signature editor, it is now possible to move several time signatures at a time.
